Jeremy McIntire is a retired Iraq War Veteran, Purple Heart recipient, husband, and blessed father who is an at-large councilman in the City of Stow, Ohio. As life-long residents of Summit County, Jeremy and his wife Claire have lived in Stow since 2011 and have 3 beautiful children Lorelai, Sadie Jo, and Maximus.

Jeremy was elected to a third term on council where he serves as Chairman of the Roads & Safety Committee and as a member of the Finance Committee
Second Term on Stow City Council (January 2022 to January 2024)
President of City Council
Trusted by his colleagues, Jeremy was twice elected to serve as Council President. During this time he served as Vice-chairman of the Finance Committee and as a member of the Roads and Safety Committee.

Jeremy was elected twice to serve as Council Vice-president and served as Chairman of the Roads & Safety Committee and Finance Committee Chairman. In May of 2020, he graduated from Kent State University with a Master of Public Administration.

By listening to the people and refusing to be outworked, Jeremy knocked on over 6000 doors in a successful grassroots campaign.

Ohio Department of Transportation
For over 5 years, Jeremy was a steward of the taxpayer’s trust where he served as a Transportation Engineer. In this role he administered over $37 million in federal, state, and local government transportation improvement contracts throughout Summit County.

Continued Military Service
After being honorably discharged from active duty, Jeremy continued his military service in the Ohio Army National Guard at the same time he graduated magna cum laude with his B.S. in Construction Engineering Technology from the University of Akron.

Jeremy served honorably an Infantryman in the United States Army including a 15-month deployment in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.
